And again, it took a challenge at <a href="http://morethanwordschallenge.blogspot.com/2021/05/may-2021-main-challenge-faces-and-kraft.html" target="_blank">MTW</a> to get me started.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiax8chMNH-tp4wD2nflZvLE_OicHMnoTDQE_8Z-HDvexDqYqQKBTtHzwfwhauxSkvHlreccF5IVTWMKtJXli089szRRa3pMR8lnMkcQcsS0M__MtRRevFkdETyOLL6CUA_bK_kVnUIIQm4/s1590/MTWchallenge_may1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1590" data-original-width="1590" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiax8chMNH-tp4wD2nflZvLE_OicHMnoTDQE_8Z-HDvexDqYqQKBTtHzwfwhauxSkvHlreccF5IVTWMKtJXli089szRRa3pMR8lnMkcQcsS0M__MtRRevFkdETyOLL6CUA_bK_kVnUIIQm4/s320/MTWchallenge_may1.jpg" /></a></div>I use a lot of kraft, so this challenge was just perfect.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkPHfF3c0o4T3p6sqh9rubrWVaDfqj8t3pGkXxJjofrlfBzC4zG2PE1-AfBZcaeyRBZZ4mmM658iJ6CLMecReEzwHs27LPkCGbgJbZKEX6bygtGVo72IHxZ8imWlJpNv2HTksBBk_Lveqd/s1773/MTWchallenge_may2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1773" data-original-width="1773" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkPHfF3c0o4T3p6sqh9rubrWVaDfqj8t3pGkXxJjofrlfBzC4zG2PE1-AfBZcaeyRBZZ4mmM658iJ6CLMecReEzwHs27LPkCGbgJbZKEX6bygtGVo72IHxZ8imWlJpNv2HTksBBk_Lveqd/s320/MTWchallenge_may2.jpg" /></a></div>The photos are of my daughter. I drew the triangles, just to create the focal point. Then used some background stamps from Papirdesign and Ink Blot Shop.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie0uKcsCmZaX6J9iZwwPK6bjUXXt5laTzvXLYXye9IJW32x5EWj-GqRJqshYBhr6R4zabbG2qt2mMtevjXj8LZwLzKuH2CamdusGBf1o1PoHzTQc6oMDMp_f3MHc9DYE-IrwHlZsVVZkEJ/s1773/MTWchallenge_may3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1773" data-original-width="1773" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie0uKcsCmZaX6J9iZwwPK6bjUXXt5laTzvXLYXye9IJW32x5EWj-GqRJqshYBhr6R4zabbG2qt2mMtevjXj8LZwLzKuH2CamdusGBf1o1PoHzTQc6oMDMp_f3MHc9DYE-IrwHlZsVVZkEJ/s320/MTWchallenge_may3.jpg" /></a></div>Decided to stick with triangles, so then this paper from Pink Paislee was perfect. I like using bright colors together with kraft. <br />
<b><u><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="https://createasmilestamps.blogspot.com/p/challenges.html" target="_blank">The Challenges at Create A Smile</a></span></u></b> are always fun, eventhough I don't always find the time to participate.<br />
This time I immediate had an idea.... which included lots of penguins....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The text I had to print myself. I'm sure I've seen stamps with this text, but I could not find it among my (many.....) stampsets.<br />

It was a fun card to make.<br />
I used the stampsets "Cool Buddies" and Friends in the Woods" from Create a Smile.Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-41800470643634924082019-03-29T22:13:00.001+01:002019-03-29T22:13:04.971+01:00Challenge - Create a Smile - MonochromaticThis is my take on the <b><u><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="https://createasmilestamps.blogspot.com/2019/03/we-dare-you-to-create-smile.html" target="_blank">current challenge at Create a Smile</a></span></u></b>.<br />
Haven't done any monochromatic cards for a long time, so this was fun!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYMzpkI9opAiSiBYMwmge-ft-YXt6NLL-wyTB8Lneyj7VtkuW0N5HQhyphenhyphencTVdZOjXbHJAtk2IBNSycBC0A3bJFJfAmBjnyAACUPfALjuZkblQM3lGZ8Tn10bhTnuCDxFF6EqozLPkfrOKTq/s1600/challenge_monochromatic1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYMzpkI9opAiSiBYMwmge-ft-YXt6NLL-wyTB8Lneyj7VtkuW0N5HQhyphenhyphencTVdZOjXbHJAtk2IBNSycBC0A3bJFJfAmBjnyAACUPfALjuZkblQM3lGZ8Tn10bhTnuCDxFF6EqozLPkfrOKTq/s320/challenge_monochromatic1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The background is made with watercolor, trying to create an ombre effect. And then an embossing folder from WRMK.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitg3eyALFXpLcjbHyNSeFWX3qJO3Iw52H29ChkToXj9GvTZ_BYKOQhZsV2Gi4hPVgYRsvQiLJXcQwCKfX9MtRe-Bd57BO0DwU7OTVNf4cbsVQ31uxLfOwHra50LuRDnOZvpcTingssY2HF/s1600/challenge_monochromatic2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitg3eyALFXpLcjbHyNSeFWX3qJO3Iw52H29ChkToXj9GvTZ_BYKOQhZsV2Gi4hPVgYRsvQiLJXcQwCKfX9MtRe-Bd57BO0DwU7OTVNf4cbsVQ31uxLfOwHra50LuRDnOZvpcTingssY2HF/s320/challenge_monochromatic2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the stamp set Stamping Friends, and also Small Sentiments.<br />
Colored them all with my purple Copics. All the sequins are also purple, just difficult to get the correct color on camera.Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-65903020468381527652019-02-02T22:21:00.002+01:002019-02-02T22:21:30.925+01:00Creative Jumpstart 2019I signed up for the Creative Jumpstart for the first time.<br />
Thought I might need some inspiration to get started in 2019. And inspired I was.....<br />
This card is made after watching the video from Autour de Mwa.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-pgcAmjn2aE5r6URXT79h7IzcdhN62RkXaaSMeE-pQ0YvO0sz9JTG4JU0bfHV6FxzFSAyXgk9QU1NBz9Nl7J_2uG7rf7sIuRO9_4Rq5bPaOhLyBWjBXhd_nacWyoK7K4FutJjxml3c4ia/s1600/lady1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-pgcAmjn2aE5r6URXT79h7IzcdhN62RkXaaSMeE-pQ0YvO0sz9JTG4JU0bfHV6FxzFSAyXgk9QU1NBz9Nl7J_2uG7rf7sIuRO9_4Rq5bPaOhLyBWjBXhd_nacWyoK7K4FutJjxml3c4ia/s320/lady1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The background is created with Dina Wakley paint and a brayer.<br />
The lady is a stamp from Joy Crafts. All the other stamps are from AALL & Create.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWikHWcH2bY-KnoSUibMftGccB7Dp6dthPaVKevq-FhlbFdvOTGflVgrhIGvKmXFZ0vE4chPFz2UpxM8A6XdXY5J6OwCcTfbXYuRM1jKxlqAra2xmUbYIlZ121eICdcjhjDCsxGHxhSWcB/s1600/lady2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1457" data-original-width="1600" height="291" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWikHWcH2bY-KnoSUibMftGccB7Dp6dthPaVKevq-FhlbFdvOTGflVgrhIGvKmXFZ0vE4chPFz2UpxM8A6XdXY5J6OwCcTfbXYuRM1jKxlqAra2xmUbYIlZ121eICdcjhjDCsxGHxhSWcB/s320/lady2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used black and white pens to highlight some details.<br />
<br />
And I'm really looking forward to going through all the other videos at CJS. Still lots of inspiration for February and the rest of the year...<br />

I love using kraft, both for cards and layouts.<br />
So then I went for the qute robots....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6vNIvRVjEQiS7PfAaR4lcNt_mrNlEaeW1c9s5RxY8wWD32rMz4YfyBe2zh58gvdcomwshjm-0RF44jN0wCl9zMJckUSOCgAMPgpjAiHU_0q5gEDBp3g5B3J60EX1orvzHk1ptZ5KkyOvt/s1600/challenge_kraft_1a.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6vNIvRVjEQiS7PfAaR4lcNt_mrNlEaeW1c9s5RxY8wWD32rMz4YfyBe2zh58gvdcomwshjm-0RF44jN0wCl9zMJckUSOCgAMPgpjAiHU_0q5gEDBp3g5B3J60EX1orvzHk1ptZ5KkyOvt/s320/challenge_kraft_1a.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the stamp sets Same Frequency and Loops of Love from Create a Smile. And also some other stamps to create the background.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0-eD9beSoCLSVWhGOXa7pVoIkuBIUpozV5HDZ3X5IZ6kZencK88Qwq2dbUG_-d92VjI2I2wiVGwHnWufbUlIrDpWClDA7RPxLGzboEt53ApHimTu0Ag3FPMQFv-hmufv4RJ1fqny65MCL/s1600/challenge_kraft_1b.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1239" data-original-width="1600" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0-eD9beSoCLSVWhGOXa7pVoIkuBIUpozV5HDZ3X5IZ6kZencK88Qwq2dbUG_-d92VjI2I2wiVGwHnWufbUlIrDpWClDA7RPxLGzboEt53ApHimTu0Ag3FPMQFv-hmufv4RJ1fqny65MCL/s320/challenge_kraft_1b.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The robot is colored with Copics, and glued down with foam tape.<br />
<br />
Since I liked this challenge so much, and just received some more cool stamps in the mail... I just had to make another one....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNLcQrL1oSYZsK8aRcQ7PbPR2TFQoGITyiJKFeKLh_XU3d3PZjI0UIr3SzggP03kiaOGMopKMnjVXzd8Aok5WyRq1dO9-nBoHK1WU5mYMOpOdqAag_e7x6g7P4vIRtJcDnIL6K852V4w4H/s1600/challenge_kraft_2a.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNLcQrL1oSYZsK8aRcQ7PbPR2TFQoGITyiJKFeKLh_XU3d3PZjI0UIr3SzggP03kiaOGMopKMnjVXzd8Aok5WyRq1dO9-nBoHK1WU5mYMOpOdqAag_e7x6g7P4vIRtJcDnIL6K852V4w4H/s320/challenge_kraft_2a.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
This time I combined Festive Foliage and Beast Feast (I'm sure monsters also wants traditional Christmas...).<br />
I stamped directly on to the kraft, soI had to use lots of masking.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD9NleHsWx0ZW1dvwLf6D4dXrM2IvUqW7EUIWZ6DiNvHoykCg-93Dgp6107-nWWphFSlFiA-lMK_KDgXgoagjEqOoq6EwurtrP3HGQla0N0E5gkGX67Vk9MIPmzWpWE1EF9mZBqrs8Uy42/s1600/challenge_kraft_2b.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1089" data-original-width="1600" height="217" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD9NleHsWx0ZW1dvwLf6D4dXrM2IvUqW7EUIWZ6DiNvHoykCg-93Dgp6107-nWWphFSlFiA-lMK_KDgXgoagjEqOoq6EwurtrP3HGQla0N0E5gkGX67Vk9MIPmzWpWE1EF9mZBqrs8Uy42/s320/challenge_kraft_2b.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
This time I colored with Lyra coloring pens.<br />
Never made a Christmas card in January before....Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-20139450628180138962018-11-10T21:25:00.003+01:002018-11-10T21:25:59.771+01:00Challenge - More than Words - November 2018I just love the challenges at More than Words, but I've just been to busy to enter lately.<br />
But the november challenge was really up my alley, so here is my take on it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPMhYfomq9qyFGBkkydFuC-AqU0ol3xo91FbHUEjQoTPzIcLggbYuy9MFFIJsxjQxnOE28MfdLdHFDiCfkprdWaaoVWc3PR9Q43l8EbOu2H6-0M5kmMuBxFSU5UW3rN3Q6odxw6EUZIyp/s1600/mali_awesome1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1586" data-original-width="1600" height="317" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPMhYfomq9qyFGBkkydFuC-AqU0ol3xo91FbHUEjQoTPzIcLggbYuy9MFFIJsxjQxnOE28MfdLdHFDiCfkprdWaaoVWc3PR9Q43l8EbOu2H6-0M5kmMuBxFSU5UW3rN3Q6odxw6EUZIyp/s320/mali_awesome1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I've mainly used papers from 7 Dots Studio, Northern Lights.<br />
The word future made me pick up the lates school photo of my daughter. It just seemed to go so well with the theme.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYRvUUqNtbC-T27EMNnar59Iq1vswuxHrLd-wIPF10-GZsYcmrjYkRR8c6IWF8Ek2xjFqyDlb2gYwPsbnLnvKZRP7cBqmyRLUv8UcfamN79gVXg2mayXwlyXXWeA5I5wiA7AYYZjOSfisL/s1600/mali_awesome2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYRvUUqNtbC-T27EMNnar59Iq1vswuxHrLd-wIPF10-GZsYcmrjYkRR8c6IWF8Ek2xjFqyDlb2gYwPsbnLnvKZRP7cBqmyRLUv8UcfamN79gVXg2mayXwlyXXWeA5I5wiA7AYYZjOSfisL/s320/mali_awesome2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
First some gesso, then stamping, and building layers with paper and diecuts<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCEisFLyl7nwKL_hTNKG2Ff3tZyWVUPU9WT90xRfrr9Y_FWN9lGI0Als8F6Pq-iW0DiqCxXVD1qqZVqRalo8ar94_0LF6RA50_AW-rJsUMywICqado3D4QFF8cR_6vytWk3N13sLn5dnT/s1600/mali_awesome3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCEisFLyl7nwKL_hTNKG2Ff3tZyWVUPU9WT90xRfrr9Y_FWN9lGI0Als8F6Pq-iW0DiqCxXVD1qqZVqRalo8ar94_0LF6RA50_AW-rJsUMywICqado3D4QFF8cR_6vytWk3N13sLn5dnT/s320/mali_awesome3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Finally I got to use my starry circle from Joy! Crafts, and also added more stars to the page. I chose to use black stars, to really make them pop.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRr1jzNzGH4JhCGdDz4lmiO-36f-Plf6f9R_tjRIEEtvkkuON87g9Lip7ohY1WzsUb8pvOw6-xnmy1TjbfN5cIAc85AEQ7Tl6vA3dm-KY21fsCHZmi_CqOB2Pr0XK_JT_Jt_w10U-kGRpD/s1600/mali_awesome4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRr1jzNzGH4JhCGdDz4lmiO-36f-Plf6f9R_tjRIEEtvkkuON87g9Lip7ohY1WzsUb8pvOw6-xnmy1TjbfN5cIAc85AEQ7Tl6vA3dm-KY21fsCHZmi_CqOB2Pr0XK_JT_Jt_w10U-kGRpD/s320/mali_awesome4.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Quite often I add some gold details and splatters to my pages. This time I decided to use silver instead. So there is a silver thread under the photo, and also some silver half pearls.<br />
<br />
This is the challenge board image from More than Words:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeJN5_44m1f4gm2fVhnRycFInX1QYI2A11728dUNrJ_2mspux-hOFey4iWTgljFIodFmzfBDBdDTijsjPZ_OhQFqM8swtpyuvXJlsN7s-OTpYbYDjxLw4V78ho-oRIo5U91fhfx7lfBtCx/s1600/MTW-201811-Main.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1066" data-original-width="864" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeJN5_44m1f4gm2fVhnRycFInX1QYI2A11728dUNrJ_2mspux-hOFey4iWTgljFIodFmzfBDBdDTijsjPZ_OhQFqM8swtpyuvXJlsN7s-OTpYbYDjxLw4V78ho-oRIo5U91fhfx7lfBtCx/s320/MTW-201811-Main.jpg" width="259" /></a></div>
<br />Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-74774026593527820352018-10-31T22:08:00.001+01:002018-10-31T22:08:12.667+01:00Challenge at Create a SmileThe latest <b><u><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="https://createasmilestamps.blogspot.com/p/challenges.html" target="_blank">challenge at Create a Smile-blog</a></span></u></b> was to create your own background. And this is my take on it <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ-u9dfI8LnDjHXQ_ANmQaVv3G_sHTDyuv2PWQ-dt4tEo_aibHUXpZImjiyzELNNcAN6VkMibETdaxUmEbIXE7lwu8yKvvzQSlYuM3JW7IxyIMrpafdR8a-C4nK1W36i_eFcSx-92bf_2N/s1600/create_a_smile_blog_oct1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1303" data-original-width="1600" height="260" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQ-u9dfI8LnDjHXQ_ANmQaVv3G_sHTDyuv2PWQ-dt4tEo_aibHUXpZImjiyzELNNcAN6VkMibETdaxUmEbIXE7lwu8yKvvzQSlYuM3JW7IxyIMrpafdR8a-C4nK1W36i_eFcSx-92bf_2N/s320/create_a_smile_blog_oct1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used distress oxide ink to create the background, and then some stamps from AALL & Create. The radio, stars, and most of the text, are all from the Radio Rock stamp set.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdT1lXttzD3T4DcPWgQN3tdn6WadPVIfofwqw1NqIvHC0vhcoMBxyhmgsVtydct9Q5TTj10twHbhd3EnWpra6KeAPxZx8BlHZD73pJyIB3uzkjuTzKT8K5ExhTKF1Y1ss34pWoxnon0Ol8/s1600/create_a_smile_blog_oct2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdT1lXttzD3T4DcPWgQN3tdn6WadPVIfofwqw1NqIvHC0vhcoMBxyhmgsVtydct9Q5TTj10twHbhd3EnWpra6KeAPxZx8BlHZD73pJyIB3uzkjuTzKT8K5ExhTKF1Y1ss34pWoxnon0Ol8/s320/create_a_smile_blog_oct2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Some splatters and some halfpearls is all I added.<br />

So now I'll try to improve myself!<br />
<br />
I made this card for the <b><u><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="http://altenewblog.com/2018/04/01/april-2018-inspiration-challenge/" target="_blank">April Challenge at Altenew</a></span></u></b>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg1sLZetwNaczVSQMWmO3If66jM56zPGO3e10g8UdK3DkHRu-GORnwDEH_MAP1yWJmj8NDF4umC1cz7dVu0cRf6ue52dcvRWtb_CbFYswT5EMPcoix8gDPpiHorOet5r_-CyjoqMhZxjI0/s1600/altenew_0418_1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1269" data-original-width="1600" height="253" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg1sLZetwNaczVSQMWmO3If66jM56zPGO3e10g8UdK3DkHRu-GORnwDEH_MAP1yWJmj8NDF4umC1cz7dVu0cRf6ue52dcvRWtb_CbFYswT5EMPcoix8gDPpiHorOet5r_-CyjoqMhZxjI0/s320/altenew_0418_1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Altenew has become one of my favourite brands lately. Here I used their stamps and coordinating dies (Trigonometry and Happy).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFKN1VrZjGa6EGTkZ7cl9Ky4mJQNAyIzWjXLU8a9aljmk0yV8dKvhL-z0aJRTkbmftjgrQnvAUP7u3IqNFxL55_ZNA44A8DPVkwA1P-F3C4oT0NqSqTxug5dNfHAxhTTd43auaP5qwFSZG/s1600/altenew_0418_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1189" data-original-width="1600" height="237" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFKN1VrZjGa6EGTkZ7cl9Ky4mJQNAyIzWjXLU8a9aljmk0yV8dKvhL-z0aJRTkbmftjgrQnvAUP7u3IqNFxL55_ZNA44A8DPVkwA1P-F3C4oT0NqSqTxug5dNfHAxhTTd43auaP5qwFSZG/s320/altenew_0418_2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I also used their ink when stamping the word 'happy'. The smaller sentiments are embossed in white.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiuGd6KM5fnKeN3-QLWFFPMZhgTF1prsUrHPts_suGHrR4VoGaQmdPOcj42HW7HXBOiAxsI2ux1XQDsvxT5lJR81jKt-uoR7pfGTyHX7qboGIeaaiY2RlPw7neI53YG7n5MTwS9kwJZq6z/s1600/altenew_0418_3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiuGd6KM5fnKeN3-QLWFFPMZhgTF1prsUrHPts_suGHrR4VoGaQmdPOcj42HW7HXBOiAxsI2ux1XQDsvxT5lJR81jKt-uoR7pfGTyHX7qboGIeaaiY2RlPw7neI53YG7n5MTwS9kwJZq6z/s320/altenew_0418_3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Some of the triangles and the text are attached with 3d-dots.<br />
I was planning on using some dots or sequins as well, but I kind of liked the clean and graphic look.<br />
<br />
This is the inspiration picture from Altenew:<br />

The assignment was word inspiration: Forever and creative inspiration: Hearts.<br />

I decided to take a slightly different approach than my original plan (using wedding pictures...), and make a page about my favourite band. Something I've been planning to do for a long time.<br />
The photo was taken by me at a Metallica-concert in 2015.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFApnVQi-5Jarpst8r1XmiTNomyXP4m6VzO9kdLnVqP9YmZJQSOcNhQyk-XIIWXH4JVMhyphenhyphenkN7pmP3Cj_JcAyM9-Xlngr7QMZhweHt-q3MifVBpFv5eOoNvvZe8JL7V5ODmuavS14Mec19b/s1600/metallica_bergen2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1285" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFApnVQi-5Jarpst8r1XmiTNomyXP4m6VzO9kdLnVqP9YmZJQSOcNhQyk-XIIWXH4JVMhyphenhyphenkN7pmP3Cj_JcAyM9-Xlngr7QMZhweHt-q3MifVBpFv5eOoNvvZe8JL7V5ODmuavS14Mec19b/s320/metallica_bergen2.JPG" width="256" /></a></div>
The papers are mainly from 7 Dots Studio. I first sketched a big heart, then glued strips of old bookpages, and finally used my sewing machine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq9c7LTQwUNDXLkSd1Y2_EDl5aHOY3Q9gy1x5s_68pGzTYuxIUsWIPtkH8_fT6O6o25acwPazZI2SBUPJerHLuqx1-o2xfsCnDdAejzAibRzi6AC0Mj0z1xlwJGxPeV0qpWhw8JXoeW9Ky/s1600/metallica_bergen3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjq9c7LTQwUNDXLkSd1Y2_EDl5aHOY3Q9gy1x5s_68pGzTYuxIUsWIPtkH8_fT6O6o25acwPazZI2SBUPJerHLuqx1-o2xfsCnDdAejzAibRzi6AC0Mj0z1xlwJGxPeV0qpWhw8JXoeW9Ky/s320/metallica_bergen3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I added some clear gesso to the page, before using a pencil + water to create som shade around the heart. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHujWk-oNx8iIukDM81aSKv9BXV0W8lPPCQzi1amJwsuCPGzq6Vsx1uMZZbBCVXBz3nosIuaDQ7BqYRUEaESOn4lIFuHLV29ER2USXkFoq9dGT0_FhyzNlbZd1rbBtrnlWbP0OpayDa9Xw/s1600/metallica_bergen4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHujWk-oNx8iIukDM81aSKv9BXV0W8lPPCQzi1amJwsuCPGzq6Vsx1uMZZbBCVXBz3nosIuaDQ7BqYRUEaESOn4lIFuHLV29ER2USXkFoq9dGT0_FhyzNlbZd1rbBtrnlWbP0OpayDa9Xw/s320/metallica_bergen4.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Distress Oxide + water to add some blue color, and then lots of stamping, using stamps from Carabelle and Prima.<br />
The stars are made with metallic tape and embossing folders.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFWhnk5TAt5DyLlSl7B-KPbShjog8fglinBKWNpc5IB3Wvtj3C65HywMc4u7wn2RseOYrypSvuTrQEKucnYxLrqUuTlGjfJvfcZtRnIdC9FB477MwbusRd7lboOs9OYb2UdRpVpV2ZqCpM/s1600/metallica_bergen5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFWhnk5TAt5DyLlSl7B-KPbShjog8fglinBKWNpc5IB3Wvtj3C65HywMc4u7wn2RseOYrypSvuTrQEKucnYxLrqUuTlGjfJvfcZtRnIdC9FB477MwbusRd7lboOs9OYb2UdRpVpV2ZqCpM/s320/metallica_bergen5.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Layers of paper behind the photo, combined with chipboard from SnipArt, punchinella, and die cuts from Sizzix.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhodeyC0_YOTTYyF81dGvJZlSGKFjIuS49L3_3_KmeJb3F60oaxJguJH02Wfo70r8gc3X3FIM8m8LRrU_jHvUXNiVc2fdIJNlzKDKPh1c5M6YTZWqd5W78a8cEhJtyqH_PJ3BZLsHK47Ohyphenhyphen/s1600/metallica_bergen6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhodeyC0_YOTTYyF81dGvJZlSGKFjIuS49L3_3_KmeJb3F60oaxJguJH02Wfo70r8gc3X3FIM8m8LRrU_jHvUXNiVc2fdIJNlzKDKPh1c5M6YTZWqd5W78a8cEhJtyqH_PJ3BZLsHK47Ohyphenhyphen/s320/metallica_bergen6.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The word 'forever' is a Dymo strip, and 'Rock!' is created the same way as the stars, using a die from Spellbinders.<br />
The last embellishments are actual picks and buttons from Metallica, and the bracelet from the concert.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I had so much fun making this page. And since I'm also going to their show in Krakow in April, there might be new photos to use...<br />
<br />
This is the image board from More Than Words:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I decided to go with the winter images, and use a photo of my girls playing in the snow. They were so happy when we finally got some snow this winter.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Aa3G9e18XCtGqJlRbhupO5QgDv5P2bdpwNF7IxEq2oylCSVIzkoomP6gZRZ5b0MMc_0LVL8-Hwdo4vCARTGyg1mb1ULlo0vGrxcIP76SKvzp0FxD_0__q5nNf0qqi6K4oHSa-EbybfcJ/s1600/01_happy_01.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1593" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Aa3G9e18XCtGqJlRbhupO5QgDv5P2bdpwNF7IxEq2oylCSVIzkoomP6gZRZ5b0MMc_0LVL8-Hwdo4vCARTGyg1mb1ULlo0vGrxcIP76SKvzp0FxD_0__q5nNf0qqi6K4oHSa-EbybfcJ/s320/01_happy_01.JPG" width="318" /></a></div>
Originally, I wanted to use blue/green colors, but somehow I ended up with pink. That just went better with the photo.<br />
Papers are from 7 Dots Studio, Northern Lights collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzt1O7yhwYsj2vy_Jyh9L77QBv2gQbIxFWB7ZFxF-UZMjGsUMK5jZW46zgzmVvU26qt8z2GU0dFRXcLq724hNKYgd7GRedtRX3oMsNYPuH9wmlNRiLLhI2jqG0A4UZRyCn6CEAqRzQcJW-/s1600/01_happy_02.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1359" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzt1O7yhwYsj2vy_Jyh9L77QBv2gQbIxFWB7ZFxF-UZMjGsUMK5jZW46zgzmVvU26qt8z2GU0dFRXcLq724hNKYgd7GRedtRX3oMsNYPuH9wmlNRiLLhI2jqG0A4UZRyCn6CEAqRzQcJW-/s320/01_happy_02.JPG" width="271" /></a></div>
I first used mesh and tissue tape, then covered the bakground with a thin layer of gesso.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvCzIyOY6Tlu6hbpbdLIPzXvWB5hZPWvtwTNrD49RFqSNCBzUccMWo1jF20bHR9MQ9ylSwX0uvcjTO1C80eA1-QUeAoXtLQvnZnT4J7elNcCqfzHQ3y6UgGxdLTvv5cSCSSgwqdobpFxJn/s1600/01_happy_03.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvCzIyOY6Tlu6hbpbdLIPzXvWB5hZPWvtwTNrD49RFqSNCBzUccMWo1jF20bHR9MQ9ylSwX0uvcjTO1C80eA1-QUeAoXtLQvnZnT4J7elNcCqfzHQ3y6UgGxdLTvv5cSCSSgwqdobpFxJn/s320/01_happy_03.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
When it was dry, I added Distress Oxide mixed with water. And then lots of random stamping, using stamps from Prima and Stampendeous.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMVOGp0i-TRNeVLIdXXYG3NUnFoXX2GUAPa2paeeqo15hcDhpV6d6gkssNifrpyzP8GoOJeIy2G77WEGKN4Cl4cbZA1EHJ7v-0v-X2GgFCnK0QL65H3YY61B_zYBNzg8oyLyDRKAqqwgP1/s1600/01_happy_04.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1016" data-original-width="1600" height="203" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMVOGp0i-TRNeVLIdXXYG3NUnFoXX2GUAPa2paeeqo15hcDhpV6d6gkssNifrpyzP8GoOJeIy2G77WEGKN4Cl4cbZA1EHJ7v-0v-X2GgFCnK0QL65H3YY61B_zYBNzg8oyLyDRKAqqwgP1/s320/01_happy_04.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Lots of layers behind the photo, including some glitter thread.<br />

The title is a die from Altenew, and I cut it in black foam.<br />

After some rainy weeks, we finally had some nice weather. And we used the opportunity to spend some time outdoors. And also taking some photos of our girls. After taking lots of photos in a park, I ended up using photos taken in our own backyard.The colors were just so beautiful. <br />

The papers are from 7 Dots Studio and Simple Stories. I firts put down some old book pages, and then a thin layer of gesso to blend them together. And then added more color with Distress Oxide and water.<br />

I instantly knew what photo to use.<br />
This is my daughter at the beach in Mallorca. Admiring the sunset, and is completely lost in her own thoughts.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguM0Y93v8BPFpZmQ42y71awAMo6iyR4MImdbbSU-j0cqg90lQfTyH7rIYIkQQxIZTAmTkEPcNB_yIRuSfQ3uTdGuRT2i0C85ar638EMqkAi6vOwFRIeYUECfWJRsaISSyzU672wyWbLbvp/s1600/10_skumring1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1573" data-original-width="1600" height="314" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguM0Y93v8BPFpZmQ42y71awAMo6iyR4MImdbbSU-j0cqg90lQfTyH7rIYIkQQxIZTAmTkEPcNB_yIRuSfQ3uTdGuRT2i0C85ar638EMqkAi6vOwFRIeYUECfWJRsaISSyzU672wyWbLbvp/s320/10_skumring1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used mainly the collection Dreamscape, there might be some smaller pieces from other 7 Dots Studio collections in there...<br />
I chose to put to 6x12 pieces together, and then add some washitape to join them together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMxfayvG9fvFGtYsPjikr3Yc4UHFwTEMm51d0_SQES1alzu2y-q9y9g_boVP-b_69vnIW04lBeERL9Qi4Xm7GSFQbqCemGReKuMyRtzpeekdeC-G04mZDHzFYyy8tMBT-ei_xfOCPYBI3/s1600/10_skumring2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMxfayvG9fvFGtYsPjikr3Yc4UHFwTEMm51d0_SQES1alzu2y-q9y9g_boVP-b_69vnIW04lBeERL9Qi4Xm7GSFQbqCemGReKuMyRtzpeekdeC-G04mZDHzFYyy8tMBT-ei_xfOCPYBI3/s320/10_skumring2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The chipboard is from SnipArt, my new favourite when it comes to chipboard. I used a stencil and grey ink to create a pattern. And then some random stamping.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn_KW2z4BOUyYY4hTpOaVyLLhhS6ZukUfq71hFwYfKqv8403PDYaY54Ad1S16pVXJHoBMbbBN0giOBSMsqgPr4uxFA8i6rTL__rXkzyE6bBAdnZWnsePzo9R7Uu918TLHNm_NiUsfJlN4O/s1600/10_skumring3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn_KW2z4BOUyYY4hTpOaVyLLhhS6ZukUfq71hFwYfKqv8403PDYaY54Ad1S16pVXJHoBMbbBN0giOBSMsqgPr4uxFA8i6rTL__rXkzyE6bBAdnZWnsePzo9R7Uu918TLHNm_NiUsfJlN4O/s320/10_skumring3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The title 'skumring' means dusk, and the letters are a sticker alfabet from Authentique.</div>
I used dies from Spellbinders and the Sizzix-dies wildflowers, and put the diecuts behind the photo.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPcrHlSAPfQIwfqdOkGJcMbBKJsWlxosjNiGYlOG5NVH5trbtEr7jR_nRiIw4dd3_MSjX190mXaxSL3y6PauuNNqKesuwmTFr7LUoBaXNrSt5cfm9AHo6BXb3V9m9VMPTOM7SXHXuxCnAQ/s1600/10_skumring4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1147" data-original-width="1600" height="229" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPcrHlSAPfQIwfqdOkGJcMbBKJsWlxosjNiGYlOG5NVH5trbtEr7jR_nRiIw4dd3_MSjX190mXaxSL3y6PauuNNqKesuwmTFr7LUoBaXNrSt5cfm9AHo6BXb3V9m9VMPTOM7SXHXuxCnAQ/s320/10_skumring4.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
As always, I found wod stickers that match perfectly. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfc-SXp053Zp4q3sUoJu6q4Tv1eGrwmr2UVs1voXmHRY6PYwOgko7N-tKjNJ2qWVlJfbMnPAYqjc7tWA89dT85iHFJalLW_jlrUQ34I2PBj3-vvAofxcbqemcECBmvioxd-07IIpqYBLi6/s1600/10_skumring5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1108" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfc-SXp053Zp4q3sUoJu6q4Tv1eGrwmr2UVs1voXmHRY6PYwOgko7N-tKjNJ2qWVlJfbMnPAYqjc7tWA89dT85iHFJalLW_jlrUQ34I2PBj3-vvAofxcbqemcECBmvioxd-07IIpqYBLi6/s320/10_skumring5.JPG" width="221" /></a></div>
Some splatters with white gesso to finish it all.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWH7RywbbFwwbMVyDSBFilqx-WrAFgriXq18APU4p0VHy1QvdENr2dFrXc7cBf9yIhrSk6_wbyE74LknoFXZ7jJaheJ637RJaNRtNPU42ETaHjTp-xrObAHrwUJAr3z3bJHRELxGj8rASR/s1600/10_skumring6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1317" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWH7RywbbFwwbMVyDSBFilqx-WrAFgriXq18APU4p0VHy1QvdENr2dFrXc7cBf9yIhrSk6_wbyE74LknoFXZ7jJaheJ637RJaNRtNPU42ETaHjTp-xrObAHrwUJAr3z3bJHRELxGj8rASR/s320/10_skumring6.JPG" width="263" /></a></div>

I tried to take some photos of my daughters, wearing their new jackets. But they had more fun goofing around, than posing the way I wanted them to. So my revenge is to scrap the photos anyway.... *muahaha* <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL1RjzjpRLie0aqF1zVrCgJg84o0ES_EnXctJ_eAK9Ya3hk-vdriu5ZuUnffA7A3pG8QBCzkl9RCMvi-1aCC9tef0Egt74d8G1qD7OdMNhBh_m_w4Yj5O5JJqyejwZSJ8yN9AgZk8CPP96/s1600/05_itgirls2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL1RjzjpRLie0aqF1zVrCgJg84o0ES_EnXctJ_eAK9Ya3hk-vdriu5ZuUnffA7A3pG8QBCzkl9RCMvi-1aCC9tef0Egt74d8G1qD7OdMNhBh_m_w4Yj5O5JJqyejwZSJ8yN9AgZk8CPP96/s320/05_itgirls2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The papers are mainly from Bo Bunny. I put som gesso over the background. Then added colors again by using Distress Ink and stencils. And also some random stamping.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp6mmtrc7M43j3-Bhk0K746be3YRvVEszXBFNHkil5ZlQrplVTZwjeeZ58M-q9xwVuTlkF750iE4kKtVtV3xeb9Eh_cGDAFzVdaP4K8Wt5PqUaYpgI8MCuhNUfIo_ayE0NJf3KjNuAF5N5/s1600/05_itgirls3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjp6mmtrc7M43j3-Bhk0K746be3YRvVEszXBFNHkil5ZlQrplVTZwjeeZ58M-q9xwVuTlkF750iE4kKtVtV3xeb9Eh_cGDAFzVdaP4K8Wt5PqUaYpgI8MCuhNUfIo_ayE0NJf3KjNuAF5N5/s320/05_itgirls3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Then I created some layers behind the photos, with papers, tags, punchinella and washi tape. Finally some buttons, hearts, stars and splatters to finish it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOgN3_MS58oyVFmB6gDKdrQHCLGb-o8O7wP2jB9VH6FVhjsF3-FIc-3DlQk0norCFNHxUc-SMd0_61fAmzmj5W4MC67y9q4nvNPw-La96PatC8PMY1_5t_IhD3pG2DiVJX55yxNnaO6WFd/s1600/05_itgirls4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1511" data-original-width="1600" height="302" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOgN3_MS58oyVFmB6gDKdrQHCLGb-o8O7wP2jB9VH6FVhjsF3-FIc-3DlQk0norCFNHxUc-SMd0_61fAmzmj5W4MC67y9q4nvNPw-La96PatC8PMY1_5t_IhD3pG2DiVJX55yxNnaO6WFd/s320/05_itgirls4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

Just love the new stamps from <a href="http://stempelglede.typepad.com/" target="_blank">Stempelglede</a> (Steampunk Journey). So I stamped the balloon on watercolor paper, and colored it with watercolor pencils.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoaTOInSdxA0474dASYaOyegqG1ojYB64qiiHZjfbt-kNQUqLzXs05T6esSV9Ejk_LtpPCuy1-AX7UDvh4CJNEC_t8nYJGiRfhMUi6VJ8cLk9mOh-ABpalN3jvbQFesq7HGXc2vQhF4BI2/s1600/11_bursdag2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoaTOInSdxA0474dASYaOyegqG1ojYB64qiiHZjfbt-kNQUqLzXs05T6esSV9Ejk_LtpPCuy1-AX7UDvh4CJNEC_t8nYJGiRfhMUi6VJ8cLk9mOh-ABpalN3jvbQFesq7HGXc2vQhF4BI2/s320/11_bursdag2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Mainly patterned paper from Authentique, but also some leftovers from 7 Dots Studio and Tim Holtz. The sentiment is a die from Kaboks. I made the tags using dies from Kort & Godt.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiROUDzN_d-ueKt-wRXd1T7ePEDDDlfWEMLb-QX6IxQ9WEZndiWocZH9g3gqewakmmyj6z-ODk08th1JwkxSdCC-fmwzcPSHTFTfA4N6cpDUwLb4Fy7d0pEFcSlDoBvcZtuVEX_C_REXMW-/s1600/11_bursdag3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiROUDzN_d-ueKt-wRXd1T7ePEDDDlfWEMLb-QX6IxQ9WEZndiWocZH9g3gqewakmmyj6z-ODk08th1JwkxSdCC-fmwzcPSHTFTfA4N6cpDUwLb4Fy7d0pEFcSlDoBvcZtuVEX_C_REXMW-/s320/11_bursdag3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Also added a heart from Finnabair, and of course som splatters.Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-5734824644007441482017-05-01T21:16:00.000+02:002017-05-01T21:16:04.462+02:00Masculine birthdaycardAnother birthdaycard with many layers, this time more masculine.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGzpVrljcm1jRC6OQ2qlIQAIYAunV_5TElYVMlUsrzM7OC9Q6zWE6-HsbgMUu50dHUn6wqJPEnxlzcZoFSnwPc24p5CliSxnlS4cVaLUYxEi0Z9I258r3gDHa-OXA8vbheXjavHD_Tewx-/s1600/09_bursdag1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGzpVrljcm1jRC6OQ2qlIQAIYAunV_5TElYVMlUsrzM7OC9Q6zWE6-HsbgMUu50dHUn6wqJPEnxlzcZoFSnwPc24p5CliSxnlS4cVaLUYxEi0Z9I258r3gDHa-OXA8vbheXjavHD_Tewx-/s320/09_bursdag1.jpg" width="319" /></a></div>
I made this for a former colleague of mine, who recently turned 60.<br />
The papers are mainly from Authentique, combined with some tissue tape and punchinella. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEzHXJRahYN8BwlU1DdsFZmUc7ftN9I0GxaUQH_Nt97MOqW42UNqJM4xhhX8_iymp7eexgpVUJhJJBaD2I2DzG7av3uISl1BhtnQV2h1mqkjkfTgfMTW4J4G-Htli7CkBTKNfYpIWA338F/s1600/09_bursdag2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEzHXJRahYN8BwlU1DdsFZmUc7ftN9I0GxaUQH_Nt97MOqW42UNqJM4xhhX8_iymp7eexgpVUJhJJBaD2I2DzG7av3uISl1BhtnQV2h1mqkjkfTgfMTW4J4G-Htli7CkBTKNfYpIWA338F/s320/09_bursdag2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I used lots of metal ornaments, from both Tim Holtz and Finnabair. And then I thought the card was a bit too dark, so I went overboard with splatters of white gesso. (Next time I'll stop a bit sooner...)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZS_6qaffcOfonjUs6Jv4F46Vf0Mz4osOa3PAeP2lo_0RgnhrBYgf0oXdUdA1Kp1fvtt3oJWhjfqswn5mERG2VWLzr2z6i4K7Zlheu8LzMMFPn9RS_46O4id9L-Br2doWcdKI59gtxnj3O/s1600/09_bursdag3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZS_6qaffcOfonjUs6Jv4F46Vf0Mz4osOa3PAeP2lo_0RgnhrBYgf0oXdUdA1Kp1fvtt3oJWhjfqswn5mERG2VWLzr2z6i4K7Zlheu8LzMMFPn9RS_46O4id9L-Br2doWcdKI59gtxnj3O/s320/09_bursdag3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I always have so much fun making masculine cards :-)Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-51672948509650478332017-04-13T18:15:00.002+02:002017-04-13T18:15:07.567+02:00Card with many layersI recently took a class with <b><u><a href="http://favoritspotonearth.blogspot.no/" target="_blank">Linda Brun</a></u></b>, where she showed us how to build a card with lots of layers. And also use leftovers and different recycled items.<br />
I got really inspired, so I created this card using the same techniques.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd5_y-PGTF3w-v6-9mnx4ZIWngtaQM-muHko4-Y2PoRjKwa8F4dd0CzujbPY90ucJdF5gXlm2fo-Ke4hJ7Y9R0ELQqvDJyu2CedtPVWsyLzSZtFxug1e2Vq08v1nJz81nCLMzoQQOksjKg/s1600/scribblybird1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd5_y-PGTF3w-v6-9mnx4ZIWngtaQM-muHko4-Y2PoRjKwa8F4dd0CzujbPY90ucJdF5gXlm2fo-Ke4hJ7Y9R0ELQqvDJyu2CedtPVWsyLzSZtFxug1e2Vq08v1nJz81nCLMzoQQOksjKg/s320/scribblybird1.jpg" width="289" /></a></div>
I stamped one of Dina Wakley's scribbly birds, and embossed it with black powder. Then I colored it with watercolors.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_O5Es4JXOGsvLMd2jU3_4ZtKHkPKaiEXemJtP2IvRTbtM3Imgt8LLksAOQIbYZnDe6MB1aIHhJHzdSWr_acRVurIZQ1xD51AOFWpNgUhxM_ziMVSm5_C8bG6myXKytI6crwWmXPhfQ3T/s1600/scribblybird2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_O5Es4JXOGsvLMd2jU3_4ZtKHkPKaiEXemJtP2IvRTbtM3Imgt8LLksAOQIbYZnDe6MB1aIHhJHzdSWr_acRVurIZQ1xD51AOFWpNgUhxM_ziMVSm5_C8bG6myXKytI6crwWmXPhfQ3T/s320/scribblybird2.jpg" width="249" /></a></div>
I used lots of different papers and tags to build the layers. And also some cheesecloth that I had dyed black for another project, but then ended up not using it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4_7cibtHCuQkGuNCGJHRhUOPYr8su1oeZn57wrLYDZ1lnYokchwG0v89_fm-Nz7q4uMOnzYmBdgdFyVapU1tSJTRvzb1Ijc2-sUFLN0Tng_DSRODEtwfVWIEGwvy3Jlz4pFAJUAS1Tz9C/s1600/scribblybird3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4_7cibtHCuQkGuNCGJHRhUOPYr8su1oeZn57wrLYDZ1lnYokchwG0v89_fm-Nz7q4uMOnzYmBdgdFyVapU1tSJTRvzb1Ijc2-sUFLN0Tng_DSRODEtwfVWIEGwvy3Jlz4pFAJUAS1Tz9C/s320/scribblybird3.jpg" width="219" /></a></div>
Some feather-diecuts (also leftovers from another project), and the small birds are a die from Joy Crafts.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2xt3XB95U4bKYCu6dQ4qMxgCVz6OL1sufXOjzb7j6K3MRyVedYmxo_Yu9_wPsJsXi64BDiRtK61ZnRql8BuBOpNx_d7XK0t7RLoRtzTMdTRlKeTiq3teBaCjpmVmGhyphenhyphenogKN-eeT1_iiqT/s1600/scribblybird4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2xt3XB95U4bKYCu6dQ4qMxgCVz6OL1sufXOjzb7j6K3MRyVedYmxo_Yu9_wPsJsXi64BDiRtK61ZnRql8BuBOpNx_d7XK0t7RLoRtzTMdTRlKeTiq3teBaCjpmVmGhyphenhyphenogKN-eeT1_iiqT/s320/scribblybird4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I found some corrugated cardboard, and some pieces of punchinella on my desk. Finally I used some gesso, and stamping to make it all come together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD9Gc3WcFm8mxYqJN0AeyrCqAjiO3JiKbzh9iLnmBgBFJJKDzPWI3a9Qma3Qn4I84_4OsoAvKZ5PR-hFf6HqiOwLj_ckfkCjT8jLoxWlJO_Ytdcgk2HUmbHwhRlwffmxH2yRaOnt3cVfo0/s1600/scribblybird5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="204" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD9Gc3WcFm8mxYqJN0AeyrCqAjiO3JiKbzh9iLnmBgBFJJKDzPWI3a9Qma3Qn4I84_4OsoAvKZ5PR-hFf6HqiOwLj_ckfkCjT8jLoxWlJO_Ytdcgk2HUmbHwhRlwffmxH2yRaOnt3cVfo0/s320/scribblybird5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
And of course, some splatters with white gesso mixed with water, and gold ink.<br />
<br />
Just love those scribbly birds! :-)<br />

Who loves coffee (especially latte) just as much as me......<br />

I saw this kind of background at the SimonSaysStamps-blog, and got really inspired. The text is stamped and embossed in white. Then I used Distress Ink to make the background.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXN8f-Qq5JqDrHyxwAoTpge4ndnMK5kktDT1hcwkKajZydf_OFmB0JAackUOeGqavTqc8zHCFS7cKt-37KMmaDHigAuQfsfbdTq_e7VnT4nxVnrdREglmLs2WJGqx0Jb-rt1boKz03bBxS/s1600/02_bursdag2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXN8f-Qq5JqDrHyxwAoTpge4ndnMK5kktDT1hcwkKajZydf_OFmB0JAackUOeGqavTqc8zHCFS7cKt-37KMmaDHigAuQfsfbdTq_e7VnT4nxVnrdREglmLs2WJGqx0Jb-rt1boKz03bBxS/s320/02_bursdag2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The die is from Spellbinders, and the stamp from Ett Trykk. And then some gold stars and sequins as the last finish.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'll try to update the blog more often. Been really busy in my scraproom, but too lazy for blogging.....</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvKVZ3tpSfw4rgaJj3E__GhiM11uvHbihajVf7KbP6BP6a3b6pzWk-eVE11jMpVqauzPjuWkmXJbIny3U1a4jze0ucJC1YHeSfQqyk5HALhLor7s5w80Dfhl9ChFAvmzXCSEdCODlskhWU/s1600/04_mordatter1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvKVZ3tpSfw4rgaJj3E__GhiM11uvHbihajVf7KbP6BP6a3b6pzWk-eVE11jMpVqauzPjuWkmXJbIny3U1a4jze0ucJC1YHeSfQqyk5HALhLor7s5w80Dfhl9ChFAvmzXCSEdCODlskhWU/s320/04_mordatter1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I've had this photo of my sister and her oldest daughter for some time, planning to make a layout one day. And this just seemed to be the perfect opportunity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpAZT8St2QycfdT7y6t-Ulr1s605FHZFrre4K-Ik9-s27gZ8zLCm9U36omHNHlUxC1zUdvykgtScNK1rBjtIgjiYOzXfl47kg9JpNNYnsvdq0wKoBCYTXFykRbqBoKC7R51gnosezs2GhF/s1600/04_mordatter2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpAZT8St2QycfdT7y6t-Ulr1s605FHZFrre4K-Ik9-s27gZ8zLCm9U36omHNHlUxC1zUdvykgtScNK1rBjtIgjiYOzXfl47kg9JpNNYnsvdq0wKoBCYTXFykRbqBoKC7R51gnosezs2GhF/s320/04_mordatter2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I've used papers from the collection Homegrown.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg15lFHUqmnFG9BsAgwa-D0oTZ7GdGn6KEjz6I4gO1oFcHZDHMcMgHY93YVQJiAT8KD8vk1j60D-gTatIr30g9IxMISUXslkhySPYR1QvnuZB9y05HuL2lumsj1x88XSKHwF-RRYlZMpdIn/s1600/04_mordatter3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg15lFHUqmnFG9BsAgwa-D0oTZ7GdGn6KEjz6I4gO1oFcHZDHMcMgHY93YVQJiAT8KD8vk1j60D-gTatIr30g9IxMISUXslkhySPYR1QvnuZB9y05HuL2lumsj1x88XSKHwF-RRYlZMpdIn/s320/04_mordatter3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Some tissue tape and mesh first, then some white gesso. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpkpOwPDZbfXW967s6mFVSfOSY-O9Q-nceMeh05BnJv4i2MClPw0WnLoL0J8tfUsMMUMLA2aj9FvE29w6Bw4RqA80agXJecq5c1AneUANw9pf75MN9VAyfFFneICxwwdyGeiB2TRVGao8q/s1600/04_mordatter4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpkpOwPDZbfXW967s6mFVSfOSY-O9Q-nceMeh05BnJv4i2MClPw0WnLoL0J8tfUsMMUMLA2aj9FvE29w6Bw4RqA80agXJecq5c1AneUANw9pf75MN9VAyfFFneICxwwdyGeiB2TRVGao8q/s320/04_mordatter4.jpg" width="304" /></a></div>
Lots of random stamping, and then layering pieces of papers and tags.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2MNEP4pqkroBY4FJ7Vic4hErB3_p0QiZJJTYA3ML4RpRsZCFRjoBVCkcyyvQfk24baFtbTG2gAYCS5vJPgi9v-hMVkYxg0k5PtQT7-_ec0MXfsWBK-3i0FS-am7vIYrW8pJqUelv8jqMa/s1600/04_mordatter5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2MNEP4pqkroBY4FJ7Vic4hErB3_p0QiZJJTYA3ML4RpRsZCFRjoBVCkcyyvQfk24baFtbTG2gAYCS5vJPgi9v-hMVkYxg0k5PtQT7-_ec0MXfsWBK-3i0FS-am7vIYrW8pJqUelv8jqMa/s320/04_mordatter5.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
The title is cut out from one of the tags. And finally, lots of splatters combined with enamel dots and sequins.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I just love this photo, and so happy I finally made a page with it.<br />

The Word Inspiration is Together, and the Creative Challenge is Ampersand.<br />

I didn't use the word 'together' on my page. But the photo shows my twin girls who are together 99% of the day..... <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXHpvX6TWc7V-NWGf-fB19C3RtBhtMEDMBi9INUNESC7eJKqooHb0_Ofobf15Mp-HFbEsVhVs_oZSeUzrX8im-lxVP7hyphenhyphenKBsnSNSmjBCr_fN77kM8P36oeo_06TplknlmYMdjQT39xtf0z/s1600/02_bubblegum2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXHpvX6TWc7V-NWGf-fB19C3RtBhtMEDMBi9INUNESC7eJKqooHb0_Ofobf15Mp-HFbEsVhVs_oZSeUzrX8im-lxVP7hyphenhyphenKBsnSNSmjBCr_fN77kM8P36oeo_06TplknlmYMdjQT39xtf0z/s320/02_bubblegum2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I covered the paper with clear gesso, and then stamped the circles. Using stamps from Stampendeous and Carabelle. Then I filled the circles with distress ink and crayons mixed with water.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnqCox0C4Dt4freXPw3UhPikzv1KjA4B6KcN2_IsvHeKz36xxWBJpqWOmDVR4nB5tX4icApkIU0He491fBd1yBeeAxeORHF0QlJoNYqgkQhimrO4iPOnAeo0ry2X_7qPjwbUbPIbWoYtoh/s1600/02_bubblegum3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="279" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnqCox0C4Dt4freXPw3UhPikzv1KjA4B6KcN2_IsvHeKz36xxWBJpqWOmDVR4nB5tX4icApkIU0He491fBd1yBeeAxeORHF0QlJoNYqgkQhimrO4iPOnAeo0ry2X_7qPjwbUbPIbWoYtoh/s320/02_bubblegum3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I applied gesso through a stencil, and added lots of random stamping.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl3EtB8JD_1CqrGSWv_IrhrwEAkNMtyV6QxVBjwTvo3Nr3Uq725tg49kPyXSfanefdtzi9aG4C16joe6ilXFyGauz0ESfLzF7bOvhqqFKRH-49dJu1BkjSKXpOXtAUgQPi_hebB66B0kN5/s1600/02_bubblegum4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="259" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl3EtB8JD_1CqrGSWv_IrhrwEAkNMtyV6QxVBjwTvo3Nr3Uq725tg49kPyXSfanefdtzi9aG4C16joe6ilXFyGauz0ESfLzF7bOvhqqFKRH-49dJu1BkjSKXpOXtAUgQPi_hebB66B0kN5/s320/02_bubblegum4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I decided to go with bright pink and lots of circles because of the title: You & Me & Bubblegum...<br />
And continued the circle-theme with punches, sequins, enamel dots and buttons.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi54hWqeIeSfOaSSCarHpOMHS41lIDrsBWiKHabd2tTNdsqBKOe5B45vFuTPcHgeoQ9jiHZ6qgJTwEWnskYnxN__9lzuy0wDK4c1Lk9KVkMrEGlsg4CSKEqYIwFYOligAqJk95BgKh8D-7b/s1600/02_bubblegum5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi54hWqeIeSfOaSSCarHpOMHS41lIDrsBWiKHabd2tTNdsqBKOe5B45vFuTPcHgeoQ9jiHZ6qgJTwEWnskYnxN__9lzuy0wDK4c1Lk9KVkMrEGlsg4CSKEqYIwFYOligAqJk95BgKh8D-7b/s320/02_bubblegum5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The photo is actually a selfie, which the girls just happened to show me some time later. And I just knew I had to make a page with it.<br />

The January challenge is <b><u><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="http://morethanwordschallenge.blogspot.no/2017/01/january-2017-main-challenge-celebrate.html" target="_blank">Celebrate and Bling</a></span></u></b>, and this is my take on it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjyeTzIVP3el7cZQSqSWPlaPMy1kvHmRK92zP1pSJH4NBf_o-TSYDj_VVhyphenhyphen1wiMmOEMZark5Z2-8599HM0nCyP4BTKZrAxZtA6DnfjRC8kmZiQ6UL4MWcX8lz3rX3lUPB4YtdwTLcq93UU/s1600/01-mali-celebrate1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjyeTzIVP3el7cZQSqSWPlaPMy1kvHmRK92zP1pSJH4NBf_o-TSYDj_VVhyphenhyphen1wiMmOEMZark5Z2-8599HM0nCyP4BTKZrAxZtA6DnfjRC8kmZiQ6UL4MWcX8lz3rX3lUPB4YtdwTLcq93UU/s320/01-mali-celebrate1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The photo shows my daughter at Christmas Eve, having fun decorating herself with the ribbons from the gifts she was opening.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYouz44ojebgTNBMmIiRhGJp1P8NFhOUKOWKmcaKssEHK_-6GFkz3ex04gPLr16YP213D3_bYBgr_nPo-qZpbVCAauIUC6LcAOh2e16QrFGPp3vfX51DWwOCiSBoy3SSFSHKE-UJhwyh-w/s1600/01-mali-celebrate2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYouz44ojebgTNBMmIiRhGJp1P8NFhOUKOWKmcaKssEHK_-6GFkz3ex04gPLr16YP213D3_bYBgr_nPo-qZpbVCAauIUC6LcAOh2e16QrFGPp3vfX51DWwOCiSBoy3SSFSHKE-UJhwyh-w/s320/01-mali-celebrate2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I decided to go with black and gold. A combination I've never tried before, at least not for a layout. The patterned paper from Papirdesign got some strokes with black Gesso. Then I mixed soft gel medium with gold Mica powder and applied through a stencil.<br />
At first I thought the gold looked too reddish, and wouldn't match the other gold elements I wanted to use. But decided to go with it anyway, and actually using two different shades of gold just made it more interesting.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHxPcxkysu3WpvEWNWkb3aHnT4OLxwVXhURwpw9kSqX4nYghRf2iTnxGXzYPr_j4lf0j8FKAPkknvWSE_Bn4BnsBauDPE0Xq025P_5cFaGzfg0gWlFs26pY8IBc6wnBKVWvXOvrvxPIVRc/s1600/01-mali-celebrate3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHxPcxkysu3WpvEWNWkb3aHnT4OLxwVXhURwpw9kSqX4nYghRf2iTnxGXzYPr_j4lf0j8FKAPkknvWSE_Bn4BnsBauDPE0Xq025P_5cFaGzfg0gWlFs26pY8IBc6wnBKVWvXOvrvxPIVRc/s320/01-mali-celebrate3.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I combined pieces of paper, vellum, doilies and chipboard behind the photo. The gorgeous chipboard comes from SnipArt, and I almost felt bad for cutting it into pieces....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkEHroOMKS_XrxZHkvBd3eeCRMbLD_8t0he4zoVleMPrLPQ6zi4jKRcVAyDPtbikigT1zsGhyphenhyphenKkye5bWeucY1wMpVxlwPNf0f_FXyzplkR87fi8Z91dJyfy6v4tq59HVpDrfh2Ill46fYX/s1600/01-mali-celebrate4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkEHroOMKS_XrxZHkvBd3eeCRMbLD_8t0he4zoVleMPrLPQ6zi4jKRcVAyDPtbikigT1zsGhyphenhyphenKkye5bWeucY1wMpVxlwPNf0f_FXyzplkR87fi8Z91dJyfy6v4tq59HVpDrfh2Ill46fYX/s320/01-mali-celebrate4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Some washitape, glitter hearts, lots of sequins and bling.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiinNSyfZ4nhDqnaWAaYcH3l52MG2ZXMh6D5QdXxNq98Xq0Gth6pmv-e8xg6ZwJG0UALArWLjE9ns4R4THkL9ZKkPmsALueFqKojwo1uqE_CSsp-_Vyjc1UjDurAgETByoQyDfmugQsVEr3/s1600/01-mali-celebrate5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiinNSyfZ4nhDqnaWAaYcH3l52MG2ZXMh6D5QdXxNq98Xq0Gth6pmv-e8xg6ZwJG0UALArWLjE9ns4R4THkL9ZKkPmsALueFqKojwo1uqE_CSsp-_Vyjc1UjDurAgETByoQyDfmugQsVEr3/s320/01-mali-celebrate5.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I also splattered with white gesso and gold ink.<br />

Not easy to take good photos this time of year, but the layout is sure sparkling in real life.<br />
And I love how sometime things turn out even better than your original plan.<br />

This is the board image from More Than Words:<br />

Got caught up in making Christmas cards, and totally forgetting about posting them. Too late for Christmas cards now, so here is something quite different.<br />
<br />
I made this card for my husbands colleague, who recently retired.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJOsNjEO5iv0oI2wB9vdNMSaqYuC70EplxNdQfXW9nG4a1160OUVynTnbTKnreWSPkDxqN226bvOyvHyFD1om7jf59xGbkeqUy_S7yJYItiLB6JXnSzueFo9pRuYMTT4P2tsKaXHk41gsn/s1600/01_pensjonist1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJOsNjEO5iv0oI2wB9vdNMSaqYuC70EplxNdQfXW9nG4a1160OUVynTnbTKnreWSPkDxqN226bvOyvHyFD1om7jf59xGbkeqUy_S7yJYItiLB6JXnSzueFo9pRuYMTT4P2tsKaXHk41gsn/s320/01_pensjonist1.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>
The image of a tractor (found on Internet) was just perfect. I used papers from 7 Dots Studio and Joy Crafts. Mixed media die from Tim Holtz, and stamps from North Star Stamps. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqSvT2BsZeX0aQKzzYKbPmhdGlHLQ_oqSksLHZyWUVG5togZp62s4BzeMmbV-i_iau3FwLsMBNUb6DhG98tr5Ip0yVB3PFM-MnbGP08mwzKKgkRsyq3vmdSeoMX6BJI2jbiQl-Hc7kBdgK/s1600/01_pensjonist2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqSvT2BsZeX0aQKzzYKbPmhdGlHLQ_oqSksLHZyWUVG5togZp62s4BzeMmbV-i_iau3FwLsMBNUb6DhG98tr5Ip0yVB3PFM-MnbGP08mwzKKgkRsyq3vmdSeoMX6BJI2jbiQl-Hc7kBdgK/s320/01_pensjonist2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Black and turquoise are one of my favourite color combinations.Jonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05304952869747986196noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455404574830208160.post-53782055848640398602016-11-16T12:15:00.002+01:002016-11-16T12:15:36.873+01:00Høstfarger/The colors of fall...I made this card for a friend of mine, and was totally inspired by a gorgeous card made by <b><span style="color: #990000;"><a href="http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/?p=16367" target="_blank">Kristina Werner.</a></span></b><br />
Completely fell in love with the triangle stamp, and it didn't take long before it arrived in the mail...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvxE265X8tvtZtugYhZtSvU0h7YuXvnik7c1Rekzz4Xr638wcknY-eQohjk4fOLj7tvyxZ2NLBuRX5eOukCyobrdevAZoIJW0oDDVIglSLZGHM21tWJ47nkIeyAY7DbSPAuZi-hcZjdL1f/s1600/53_hilsen1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvxE265X8tvtZtugYhZtSvU0h7YuXvnik7c1Rekzz4Xr638wcknY-eQohjk4fOLj7tvyxZ2NLBuRX5eOukCyobrdevAZoIJW0oDDVIglSLZGHM21tWJ47nkIeyAY7DbSPAuZi-hcZjdL1f/s320/53_hilsen1.jpg" width="251" /></a></div>
I just love the colors of fall, so I chose very different colors than the original card. But followed the same steps to create the background, using white embossing powder, and then different Distress Inks.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz-a-pJ1JORT3jrxrTpdZOMBUD1JwF4i2xDmAyVAtb_ieNsXNAhyvct4C2m3aJBrgoxHDZFfZ2NN0cgFlkYQsTzz1zZU4X17weeAvkwD7tigpuD03qO3Nn-YufWQatUIhhcw0y5boecX52/s1600/53_hilsen2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz-a-pJ1JORT3jrxrTpdZOMBUD1JwF4i2xDmAyVAtb_ieNsXNAhyvct4C2m3aJBrgoxHDZFfZ2NN0cgFlkYQsTzz1zZU4X17weeAvkwD7tigpuD03qO3Nn-YufWQatUIhhcw0y5boecX52/s320/53_hilsen2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The sentiment is embossed in gold, and I put together some leaves and skeleton leaves behind it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYIgJsV4i0PKmPHj9Oqyxl22xzuezkOlJ-C3MDbbgMPwzxwimzOuRf8GiXZH5dbgwIfY2n6bip3R_BQwZM2W7ACRzRCKNpkPBovC9NF8MlP14mOhzFa0vHtKxNFnFxE8orDl_VS73Uy25S/s1600/53_hilsen3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYIgJsV4i0PKmPHj9Oqyxl22xzuezkOlJ-C3MDbbgMPwzxwimzOuRf8GiXZH5dbgwIfY2n6bip3R_BQwZM2W7ACRzRCKNpkPBovC9NF8MlP14mOhzFa0vHtKxNFnFxE8orDl_VS73Uy25S/s320/53_hilsen3.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally some sequins, attached with Multi Medium Matte from Ranger.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've made several backgrounds like these, in different colors. And it is so much fun every time to see how they turn out.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhin5hkj5_76poEL93RdT1q8qdmptvNujejKmjLI9JdAtFJ3kAoBBjiu7fIWtth6bhw-2ZdwtVyu2av4opOHJ6j0TWRnXomPhY0YsQsMbJT-dt8kwVn0n2DPXFi7MtAEt7uH6w8qn840TNK/s1600/57_farsdag1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhin5hkj5_76poEL93RdT1q8qdmptvNujejKmjLI9JdAtFJ3kAoBBjiu7fIWtth6bhw-2ZdwtVyu2av4opOHJ6j0TWRnXomPhY0YsQsMbJT-dt8kwVn0n2DPXFi7MtAEt7uH6w8qn840TNK/s320/57_farsdag1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Synes disse kortene er enkle og kjekke å lage. Jeg brukte Kraftkartong til å brette kortet, og ellers bare restepapir.<br />
<i>I made this envelopecard containing the Norwegian chocolate called Kvikklunch for my father. </i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Crafts.<br />
<i>The base is made of Kraft cardstock, and then just some leftover papers to decorate it. Stamps from Papirdesign and Kort & Godt. It is closed using Hook & Loops from Joy Crafts.</i><br />

<br />

:-)<br />
