After a trip to London this spring, I had lots of photos and ideas for scrapbooking pages. But I finally got started when I saw the
June Challenge - Urban theme at the 7 Dots Studio blog.
7 Dots Studio is my favourite when it comes to paper collections. And they are especially perfect for mixed media style.
I combined several collections from 7 Dots Studio. Yuletide, Homegrown, Cold Country, Fortune-teller, and maybe even more. I kind of lost track....
First some white gesso, and then a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop with grey ink.
Some random stamping, before I started building layers with papers. The doilie is a die from Tim Holtz.
The houses are also a die from Tim Holtz. I've had it for many years, and finally I found the perfect use for it. I used some souvenir buttons and picks I bought in London.
The title are stickers from Websters Pages.
Finally some embellishment from Finnabair and Queen & Co, together with some splatters.
And I decided to put some wire from Prima around the photo.
Loved making this page, and I'm looking forward to the next challenge at the 7 Dots Studio blog.
Here is the inspirational circle.
