Hekta på spill - Sketchabilities #139

I really liked the recent sketch at Sketchabilities, so this is my take on it.

I made a layout with a mixed media background. The photo shows my daughter being caught playing games on her cell phone, while we were supposed to go for a walk in a nearby park.
The title 'hekta på spill' means hooked on games. You can clearly see the guilty look on her face.....

The background is created with loads of white gesso and gelatos. I decided to not take the easy way out and change the photo to black & white. (I'm always regretting buying my girls so colorful clothes when I'm scrapbooking....)

So I tried to implement the bright pink/purple color somehow, and added lots of white and black to make it work.
After the Gesso and Gelatos had dried completely, I stamped with different background stamps.

There are also some patterned papers under there... and doilie and washi tape.

I added black ink along some of the edges, and lots of splatters.
And I found a piece of punchinella to put behind the photo.

It was a fun layout to make, and my daughter was very happy to see all the pink...
