Challenge - Create a Smile - Monochromatic

This is my take on the current challenge at Create a Smile.
Haven't done any monochromatic cards for a long time, so this was fun!

The background is made with watercolor, trying to create an ombre effect. And then an embossing folder from WRMK.

I used the stamp set Stamping Friends, and also Small Sentiments.
Colored them all with my purple Copics. All the sequins are also purple, just difficult to get the correct color on camera.

Creative Jumpstart 2019

I signed up for the Creative Jumpstart for the first time.
Thought I might need some inspiration to get started in 2019. And inspired I was.....
This card is made after watching the video from Autour de Mwa.

The background is created with Dina Wakley paint and a brayer.
The lady is a stamp from Joy Crafts. All the other stamps are from AALL & Create.

I used black and white pens to highlight some details.

And I'm really looking forward to going through all the other videos at CJS. Still lots of inspiration for February and the rest of the year...

Challenge - Create a Smile - Kraft

I just had to enter the current challenge at Create a Smile. I love using kraft, both for cards and layouts.
So then I went for the qute robots....

I used the stamp sets Same Frequency and Loops of Love from Create a Smile. And also some other stamps to create the background.

The robot is colored with Copics, and glued down with foam tape.

Since I liked this challenge so much, and just received some more cool stamps in the mail... I just had to make another one....

This time I combined Festive Foliage and Beast Feast (I'm sure monsters also wants traditional Christmas...).
I stamped directly on to the kraft, soI had to use lots of masking.

This time I colored with Lyra coloring pens.
Never made a Christmas card in January before....
