And this is my take on the challenge:
I had some photos of my daughter, wearing her favourite black&white dress, that I thought would fit perfectly with this challenge. We are on the top of the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet House in Oslo, so I asked her to pose accordingly :-)And that also gave me the title: New first Lady/Diva...
I started with some mesh, tape and gesso. Then some black Dylusion to make some splatters.
I stamped randomly around the edges of the paper, and with another stamp around the photo.
The flowers were cut out from a flocked transparency from Prima. It's been hiding in my stash for several years...
Some chipboard that were painted white. And some embellishment like dots, rhinestones etc. And also som black and white straws I bought in Oslo. Mainly thinking of how cool they would look on a scrapbooking page, but I guess they work perfectly in a beverage as well.....
A really fun challenge, having to stick to only black & white for the whole page.
Can't wait to see what the September Challenge will be.
